So, let’s talk gear. In this video, I’m going to show you what gear we bring with us when it comes to a trail running competition here in Romania. We are going to create the after movie for this competition. And I’m really excited because it’s one of the most beautiful places that you can go in Romania. It’s going to happen over two to three days. Today, we are leaving and tomorrow is the first dayish. First of all, I’m going to show you the bag because this is the main carryon for all the gear that we have is the Tenbar Sinelus 21. It’s very nice because the main thing about this, it’s this thing right here. It has a great opening uh that makes the access to the gear very easy. And uh yeah, you just close it with a zip and you take it on your back and you’re ready to go. And we need that bag because we don’t have time to set up cameras as you may imagine. And for as the main camera, we are going to use the Sony FX6 which is a very popular and reliable camera for these types of events. So, the camera helps us a lot with uh everything that we need to do because it’s very versatile and for this type of documentary, fast running, run and gun scenarios. I’m going to just use it handheld most of the time because I like the the whole feeling and the whole vibe that it gets um uh to the final image. Remember that it’s a very active and um dynamic event. So, we want the footage to be dynamic and to have lots of movement in it. Uh, my colleague is going to use the FX3 with a gimbal on it. And also, I have the X FX3 that’s filming right now with an 85 mm. And, uh, I’m going to use maybe the FX3 also on the gimbal on the gimbal with a 60 to 35 more Vmount batteries. We have three or four of these. All from Small Rig. All are working very good. But again, the main focus is this camera. The main thing that we are going to shoot things with. And on the camera, I’m going to use also, but I’m not sure yet, uh this thing right here, which is the small rig mini mate box with a uh black mist. You may see that it has a filter on it. It’s a black mist that it gives a more natural look to the image. The filter is 1/8. Yeah, it’s not very strong, but it going it’s going to look good. Also, the u matbox and the im the final image on the camera. We have the 24 to 105 uh lens for F4 from Sony. It can cover lots of uh focal distances and we can go from wide to very close up quite easily. And um yeah, we are going I’m going to use it at least uh this lens as the main driver as the main lens for this whole project. Maybe 90 to 95% of the frames are going to be shot with this lens right here. Also, we have on the camera the Tilta cage, the version with the Tilta Vmount battery plate. Uh the power from it goes right into the camera via this via this cable and uh yeah on it we’re gonna use Vmounts uh batteries from Small Rig. These are very good because uh they are quite small and very reliable. I use them in the rain also and they just work. Never had any issues with them. Okay, so another lens I’m going to use is the 20 the 70 to 200. It’s a F4 version. That means it’s the lighter weight version of the 2.8 72 200. Yeah, I’m going to use it uh just chasing runners from a distance. In terms of audio, I’m going to use this microphone right here, which is the Sennheiser MK600 with the wind for on it for the wind because in the mountains we have wind. Not much to say about this one. Uh it’s it’s a great mic. Uh the sound is really good and we will use it every time at every shot that we are going to film. is going to be directly mounted to the FX6. And we are going to use this cable, XLR cable. And yeah, and besides that microphone, we have also this one little mic here, which is the road NTG microphone with a another wind for. This is going to be used on the Sony FX3 or maybe just as a backup for the FX6. We are going to take some interviews from the runners, the organizers and so on. And uh for this we are using the road wireless pro. These are great because it has the backup sound. So if everything happens uh in the camera with the audio or with the signal, anything like that, we have the backup audio also registered in the labs itself. So yeah, we’re going to have two of these. It’s a small rig. It’s a Atamos, sorry, Shinobi, the standard version, not the SDI. Powered by the Vmount directly through this DTAP cable, and I’m going to use it on the FX6. And on the FX3, I’m going to use another one. Two HDMI cables for each just in case one of them brokes. This is the best one that I have, and it’s a contact blue HDMI. High quality cable. I don’t like the fact that I didn’t find on here in Romania the stock for uh the version uh the L version of it and you have to force it when you put it in the monitor or um elsewhere but it’s it’s very good. So, this is the second time when I filmed this uh video because the first time I forgot about the drone, which is very important. And we have the DJI Mini3 Pro. We have two of these. And uh the quality that we need for this event is more than enough. Uh it also matters a lot the size and the weight. remember that I have to go um on the mountains and to run with athletes with all this gear on me. So yeah, weight matters a lot. It has the uh standard remote with the display and three batteries. Another camera, a third camera that that I’m going to bring. It’s the DJI Osmo Action 4. And I’m going to use it either for BTS shots or I’m going to give it to a runner. Just take this and run with it. And uh I know a few runners that may be open to do it. So we I’m going to see if that’s doable. Uh three batteries, chest strap. Okay, so that’s it. Thank you for watching and leave me a comment below with any questions that you may have. And uh I think I covered enough or I think I covered the all the main things that are important. Subscribe if you liked uh this type of content and hit the bell because new videos are coming every week. Oh my god. Yes. Let’s go.
