[intro] Hi. Welcome back to The Luebkes channel. What we’ll be doing next? The Eidul-Fitr celebrations have just ended. We’ll be showing something that we just received. We were satisfied with it when we did the first review. Still remember the Cyrusher Kommoda 2.0 in our 19th wedding anniversary video vlog? Cyrusher was happy with the video review we did. So, they would like us to review the second product which is an e-bike from Cyrusher under the Kommoda model 3.0. The weather has become conducive. Alhamdulillah. So, this is the best time for a bike ride. I’ll not be riding with my kids. We’d like to focus on these two Cyrusher bikes. So, what’s the plan? Anyway, for your information the Westfield Shopping Mall is now officially opened in Hamburg. Everybody has been waiting for the opening. Words got around they’ll open last year. But it got postponed several times. Finally, it is now opened in Hamburg. Who on earth doesn’t recognize the Westfield brand? Westfield brings back lots of sweet memories for us. When we were living in Australia there were lots of Westfield shopping malls. We’re so delighted it’s now in Hamburg. It brings back lots of memories when we were living in Australia. We lived just 10 minutes drive away from Westfield. We loved to chill out at Westfield shopping center. Now, it’s finally opened in Hamburg. What’s interesting is it has a bicycle parking lot. So, we decided to go there on bicycle. Let me take you guys there. Michael is preparing everything for the ride. Haa. This is the first Cyrusher 2.0 e-bike. This one is the latest model we just received. I chose this color. It is my favorite color. We are all getting ready for the ride. Let’s go. This is the Cyrusher Kommoda 3.0. It’s the most versatile step through e-bike. It’s designed for touring on roads. It also provides comfort for easy rides. Ride with performance in comfort and style. We reviewed Cyrusher Kommoda 2.0 at the Baltic Sea. At first glance, not easy to spot the difference between Cyrusher 2.0 and Cyrusher 3.0. If you notice, they have different frame lengths. The frame is extended there. The frame is extended more to the front. The battery pack looks different. The charging port on Cyrusher 3.0 is at the bottom. The charging port on Cyrusher 2.0 is at the top. The battery pack are of different shapes. As you can see, there’s a button over here. It’s to dislodge the battery pack. You can also do the same with Cyrusher 2.0. This charging port is at the bottom. This one is at the top. This one has the locking mechanism on this side. Cyrusher 3.0 locking mechanism is on the other side. They positioned them on opposite sides. They made improvements on the bike’s frame. You can clearly see. I can place four fingers on Cyrusher 2.0. My four fingers fits on this gap here. – Uhum. When I place my four fingers on Cyrusher 3.0 frame you can see there’s still more space for more. Cyrusher Kommoda 3.0 has more space. Yes. – It’s wider. I can place two hands at this spot. The frame is extended longer. So, Cyrusher 3.0 is suitable for bigger sized riders. For riders who are taller… Cyrusher 3.0 is suitable for big-sized riders. The handles are comfortably positioned for longer arms. So, it’s good for Europeans. [laugh] I like Cyrusher’s choice of wide tires Tires on Cyrusher 3.0 are of different brand. Uh. – Cyrusher 2.0 uses Chaoyang tires Big Daddy. – Big Daddy. Cyrusher 3.0 uses Arisun tires The tire threads also differ between the two. If you look at the tire threads… You can see the difference, right? The Chaoyang tires are more for off-road. This Arisun tires are more for city cycling. It can also be used for off-road cycling. It’s just that the patterns are different. Yes, different patterns. Apart from those, they’re more or less the same. The brake lights. The… They’re quite similar. That’s why we chose a different color. Cyrusher sent us this pannier bag. The pannier bag is so cool, right? So… – This compartment is for your pads. [laugh] How many kilometers we have traveled so far? We’re still early into the ride, right? We’re heading to Westfield. How many kilometers more to reach Westfield? It’s one hour ride from our house. – One hour. It’s because we’re using bicycles to get there. In Germany, we have dedicated roads for bicycles. That’s what we want to highlight to you guys. How we get to the city center from our home in the suburbs. Thus far, we used bicycles in and around our local town. But we have never done so in the city center. It’s like cycling from Ampang to Kuala Lumpur. We’re like going to city center or KLCC. It’s like cycling from Ampang to KLCC. Let’s go. We need to be careful. [laugh] There could be bicycles heading the other way. What’s fun about cycling in Germany is the bicycle roads mostly have lush greenery. It weaves through parks and the woods. It rarely goes along roads for motor vehicles. When you ride through bicycle roads and paths you’ll enjoy the scenery of nature. The good thing is there are a lot of stations for you to inflate your tires Even for bigger bicycle tires like ours. What’s interesting in Germany is… Take a look at this thing here. …there are lots of e-bike charging stations. It’s so convenient for cyclists. Lots of e-bike charging stations everywhere. We’re still in the town we live in. We haven’t got into the city limits yet. You can also inflate your tires here. Michael has inflated Cyrusher 2.0 tires He will now inflate Cyrusher 3.0 tires It’s done. It’s easy. The stations are everywhere. We haven’t even reached the city. Yet, there are already e-bike stations available. It’s a normal thing in Germany. It’s like we’re still in Ampang and tehre are already e-bike stations available. Sometimes we have to be on the roads. Even on the roads, there are bicycle lanes. The bicycle lanes are now more on the motorway. We’re between city centers of Harburg and Hamburg. We’re on a bicycle lane of a motorway. But there are dedicated lanes for bicycles. Are you okay, dear? Welcome to Elbe. Are we already in Elbe? No, right? – Huh? We’re already in Elbe, right? – Yes. They have installed new pavers. This is a really old structure. This is an old bridge. Nice place. I like it. There are boats and yachts. People like to hang around in this area. Is that the highway? – Yes. It heads into the city. We’ll cross two rivers to get to the city center. Quite a big waterway. These are all apple trees. We’re already near the city. These are apple trees. This route leads to my office. If I head to the office in autumn, there’ll be lots of apples on the trees. How is your ride thus far? How about yours? As usual, it’s a good ride with Cyrusher e-bike. Feels comfortable. Easy riding. Riding here feels smooth. The bicycle road is in good condition. It’s so fun cycling in Germany because it has dedicated roads for bicycles. So, you can ride safe and comfortable. Lots of people are cycling today. The weather is beautiful today. [singing] Can you see me? I am way ahead. [singing] On good weather, people go outdoors to have some fun outside and to get some sun. The traffic congestion is so bad. If we took the car, we’ll be stuck in traffic. We’re lucky to have taken the bicycles. We can get way ahead of others. Wow. Traffic is still congested. What’s going on? Where will this congestion ends? Ouh. Traffic is really bad. We’re lucky to have taken the e-bikes. Otherwise, we’ll also be stuck in traffic. What’s IGA? Not sure what it stands for. Easy turns and comfortable handling while at it. It has a small turning radius. The turns are on the spot and on point. The playground here looks nice. There are still cherry blossoms around. That coffee shop looks good. Capo’s Coffee? I like it when there are no cars around. They’re only here on parking. You feel safe while cycling. So many playgrounds here. All these are new buildings. We’ll be arriving at Westfield shortly. But where’s the entry for bicycles. I’m looking for it. There it is. I can see it from here. Look at these electric motor bikes. We’re looking for e-bike parking bay. We have reached Westfield shopping mall. This one is popular here. This is the Port Des Lumieres. This is the… – Exhibition for immersive arts. It’s like an exhibition but in the building… [unintelligible] It showcases masterpieces of artists. This is Westfield’s parking area. They dedicated a bay for bicycles. Usually, parking bays in buildings in Germany… Is there any? There’s none, right? Usually, parking bays in buildings in Germany will not be equipped with charging stations. Not even in parking bays for cars. This is for safety reasons. We’ll now park our Cyrusher e-bikes. You can also park on top, right? Aaa. – Maybe this is for clamping the bicycle down. We’re not sure of what this thing is for. Otherwise, why does it have this thing here? We should find out. Maybe it’s to give you more space on top so that you can lift your bicycle from here because there’ll be bicycles parked down here. What’s nice is it’s free. You’ll need to pay parking if you come by car. That’s besides the traffic congestion. We showed you guys how bad traffic was, right? Probably it’s due to this place being newly opened. That’s probably not the main reason. It’s a contributing factor. Furthermore, people go outdoors due to good weather. So, traffic congestion and fuel if you go by car. If you use bicycles… It wouldn’t physically drain you because we’re using e-bikes. Nevertheless, we’ll still do some physical exercise. Parking is free. You’ll save a lot. What’s nice about this parking bay is it has lifts that take you directly to the mall. It’s written on the signage tehre. Aaa. Shops. We’ll be taking this lift to go directly into the shopping mall. We parked in Zone 5. Also, we parked in the Red Zone. [laugh] Don’t forget where you parked. This place is awesome. – Truly awesome. We exit from the lift here. We’re now in the Westfield shopping mall. Espresso House. These are all part of Westfield shopping mall. Westfield has outdoor and indoor shopping area. We’ll be going to a Haribo outlet. Haribo sells gummy bears. It’s usually non-Halal in Germany. You can consider them selling non-Halal products. But in Westfield shopping mall in Hamburg Haribo has a halal section. I just heard about it I haven’t seen it for myself. Let’s go inside and have a look. Aaa. Okay. It’s vegetarian. It’s considered as halal. Because it doesn’t use oils of animal origin especially that’s sourced from pork. My kids are all here in Westfield shopping mall. They took the train to get here. Train rides in Germany are free for… Especially in Hamburg, there’s special ticket pass. My kids get to ride on public transport for free. They’re eating ice cream. [expression] Are you buying new shoes? – Yes. As you get older, wear comfortable shoes. It has a long show lace. Right now, the price is around… Over there is the Elbe River. There are also cruise ships docking here. See that? There’s a cruise ship. What’s interesting about this place, dear? Westfield is connected to a cruise terminal. They cater for disembarking passengers. So, it’ll just be like airports. Passengers come in and do shopping. – That’s right. This is the typical Hamburg settings. We went shopping, had meals and sight seeing. We’ll now head back to the bicycle parking bay. We’ll now pick up our bicycles. It’s easy to be attached to the e-bike. Westfield shopping mall closes at 8pm. Shopping malls in Germany close early. 8pm is just the right time to close. I’m not sure if this bicycle parking bay also closes at 8pm. Right now it’s slightly past 8pm. We can still head down to the parking bay. But the lifts are no longer working. I think they deactivated the lifts to discourage people from using the parking bay. The parking bay has… You need to scan this to use the repair station. The parking bay has a repair station. It’d be convenient for bicycle owners. It’s equipped with all kinds of tools for repairs. You can use them to repair your bicycle. Okay. Let’s make a move. Traffic is still bad even at night. [expression] It’s really bad. Luckily we have done what we wanted to do. Mine is at 44 percent. We finally arrived home. – Home sweet home. But it’s already dark. [laugh] If this is in April, it’ll be freezing. It’s already dark. What’s the time now? – 9pm. – 9pm. Eh, it’s already 10pm. We need to hurry home for Maghrib prayers. Home sweet home. You used just half of your battery capacity. Just around half. Half. – Yes. Look at the battery level on my display. How much battery capacity you have left? It’s still at 87 percent. 87. – To and fro. We didn’t even charge on the way. Started at 100 percent battery capacity. After the trip, it’s at 87 percent. This is excellent. That means we covered… How many kilometers did we cover today? We covered 45 kilometers today. Yes. But the battery stays high at 87 percent. So, it’s quite… – This is good. The battery lasts for a long time. It’s… – Layla’s e-bike ran out of battery. Mine is at 48 percent. I think one of its key features is… When we started from Westfield, it was at 100 percent. Don’t tell me it doesn’t consume battery at all. Does it recharge as you go along? I don’t think so. But why was it at 100 percent? You were always using 4-5 gear speed, right? 3-4. 3-4. 3-4. 3-4. That’s my standard gear speed. Only on our way back, I used lots of 5. Because it was getting colder. Yes. It went down to 88 percent. We’re really happy with the Cyrusher e-bike. Also, I like it because it’s a compact e-bike. It’s not as heavy as other e-bikes. The battery life is also long lasting. It might not be as fast as other powerful e-bikes. But I consider it as having good speeds. We can go… We took one hour. Not even one hour, right? One hour going and one hour back. For two hours, we covered 45 kilometers. We didn’t rush during the ride. I did the standard speed of 3-4, 3-4. We’re very satisfied with the Cyrusher e-bike.
