Day 6 of my 888 km cycling journey along Lithuania’s border: after a rainy night, I woke up by a beautiful windy lakeside, with every forest playing its own melody. Luckily the rain stopped and the day turned sunny. As I cycled south, I reached the Belarus border, marked by a crossing post — but no crossing needed for me. Along the way, I passed an interesting small church made from stones. After a late noon start, five and a half hours of riding took a heavy toll on my legs, with six consecutive cycling days showing their effect. Two more days left to reach the rehab center.
It’s a beautiful lake. It’s windy today. When tea is ready and everything is blown away. Every forest has its own melody and own charm. Just listen. Two more days to ride and I’ll be at the rehab center. It was raining all night, but the day seemed to be a sunshine and dry. Although I was expecting the rain to to pour all day as well. But luckily I won’t have to ride in wet clothes. I’m uh the border with Bellarus. Bellarussia is just next door. There is a post to cross the border, but I’m not going to cross it. Have no need. An interesting piece of art. Small stones made. The church started at noon. Now it’s 5:00. After 5 and 1/2 hours of cycling, I already feel the legs being drained. And that’s the sixth straight day. That’s a a toll to carry.
