So I bought this [Cannondale H300 hybrid bike](https://images.offerup.com/JYTnh4OKlQTS2cRgY97BeyonZGQ=/1008×756/25f6/25f67912860f4d1594a13e841701f019.jpg) almost 10 years ago used for $150 on Craigslist – its a 30 year old bike! After about 15 miles of riding, my upper back starts nagging me and I’ve come to realize the need for drop bars first hand. After doing a 30+ mile ride and having road cyclists effortlessly whiz by me on my last trip, I told myself I was done with this bike. I like the ability to go between road and gravel, but I’d prefer a knock on road performance to being able to handle gravel/dirt trails, which I love the most.
I’d like to stick to Cannondale and the bike I would get would be the [Topstone](https://www.cannondale.com/en-us/bikes/road/gravel/topstone-alloy) but I can’t shell out upwards of over $1K at the moment. Any bicycle recommendations for a used Cannondale gravel bicycle? Which components are crucial to have?
