I was experimenting bars on my fixed gear and somehow a real stupid idea hit me. If people liked low pro and slamming the stem, how about doing the contrary ? Like sport motorcycles versus ape hanger motorbikes ?
Got myself a BMX stem and very high BMX handlebar and voila !
It looks like some big deformed BMX, probably won’t be good at free style (the bar is a bit too high) but it rides really upright, like a holland bike.
So if you are a very old person and want to ride slowly and comfortably beside another old person, you can try this.
