  1. Thanks for sharing this mate. I'm all about showing the journey 'warts and all' personally but it's good to see others also showing that sometimes training doesn't go to plan. That doesn't mean it's all a waste of time or the goals are already a right off. We can pretty much always pick ourselves back up and get right back to it. 💪

I also echo the idea of mental health first. When it really comes down to it, I only race because my mental health is in a pretty good place. If the mental health starts to struggle, the speed work and the racing is the first thing to go in favour of just getting out and enjoying the great outdoors. 🙏

  2. A decent day’s training I’d say. Good skills. You’re right of course; got to enjoy the training grind to stick at it. It’ll be worth it Stu ✊

  3. Yep I totally agree. It's all about the journey and who you become on the journey. It's not all positive in fact I'd say mostly it's a grind.

  4. Sounds like most if not everyone’s ‘real’ journey. I think you were right from the start. Most videos are all the good highlights. We all have off days, I know I certainly do. Keep going Stu 🙌

  5. Congrats on the half marathon Stu!

And good on you for sharing the true journey, it’s not always fun and games!

Ice cream ride is my kinda ride hahah 🤣
