Hi all,
Thought I'd share our experience of this year's (2025) Mallorca 312 with you.

We started in the pink starting box, which is for mostly for previous participants. This gave us a bit of a head start compared to the people in the last start pan (we started at 06:35, the very last people started at 07:00).

We aimed for the longest route (312 KM), but for this you need to make 2 time-cuts. If you don't make them, you are forced to do either 225 or 162 KM.

(Check the first video if you don't want a spoiler from the text below).

There was a delay after the first mountain from an unfortunate crash, so if you plan on doing this event, pace yourself with some buffer time. We made the first time cut though. From there it was between 225 and 312 KM.

Due to stress from being overtaken by the pacer group and some bad nutrition intake we had to slow down towards the end. We missed the 312 KM time cut by something like 30 minutes.

If you do make that time cut, it should be relatively easy though, because the route is mostly flat from there on. Most of the (4500m elevation gain) are before the first split.

We'll participate again next year. Points to improve is pacing on the climbs and nutrition. Please ask if you have any questions and let us know any suggestions.
