Epic [Glorious Gravel Cotswold X 2025] [Gravel Cycling], [Photography] & Cotswold Adventures.

Join us for a weekend of gravel cycling, photography, and countryside adventures in the stunning Cotswolds! In this video, Tom and I head to the beautiful village of Didmarton for a short getaway centred around the Glorious Gravel Cotswold X Sportive – a highly popular, scenic, and rewarding cycling event.

The Cotswolds is a picturesque region in south-central England, renowned for its rolling hills, honey-colored limestone villages, and timeless rural charm. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), it spans across several counties including Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Worcestershire.

We start with a relaxed photo walk around the area, capturing the quiet beauty of the countryside and stopping by the historic Church of St. Arild in nearby Oldbury-on-the-Hill – a beautifully secluded spot steeped in character and nestled in classic Cotswold surroundings.

The next day, we take on the Cotswold X Sportive, a gravel cycling challenge curated by the Glorious Gravel – a cycling event organiser known for expertly designed off-road routes that showcase the best of Britain’s natural landscapes. The ride takes us along scenic roads, quiet bridleways, forest tracks, and open fields, offering both adventure and unforgettable views.

We wrap up the weekend with a well-earned celebratory meal at a cozy local pub and a long, relaxing snooze in the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in at our holiday cottage before heading home the next morning – tired but happy.
