We’ve had this in the family for 40+ years. Pumped up the tyres and lubricated the kick stand today. Gears work great but all the chrome and brightwork is bad because it was stored in a damp place.
Rattle can paint has protected the mudguards and I also have the original front rack with removable basket. I know it’s not “survivor spec” but everything works. I’m tempted to strip it and send the frame off for powder coat but I know chrome resto can be expensive.
Is this worth restoring?
