While servicing my CAAD 5 i realized the cranks arent equally spaced relative to the middle of my bike (measured from the seattube). The non-drive side crank was 4mm closer to the middlr of the bike in comparison tto the drive side crank.

The chainline was also a bit messed up and was causing the chain to drop from the middle chainring to the smallest chainring while using the biggest cog.

So i decided to swap the spacers of the şeft and right crank which would put the chainline in a better position and the cranks almost equally spaced. I swapped the number 6 and the number 11 as numbered in the drawing.

So my question is: How safe is it to use the bike with swapped spacers and how safe is the gap between the smallest chainring and the chainstay.

FYI: I looked up to the manual of my FC-5603 crankset and the chainline is given as 45mm. I managed to achieve that with the swapped spacers but i am still curious if it is safe to ride like this.
