Starting a 6-day, 888 km cycling journey along the border of Lithuania to reach a rehab center—Day 1 is done with a 206 km ride from Klaipėda to a forest camping spot. This 2.5-minute video captures the highlights of the day ride: smooth stretches, brutal gravel, and the peace of finishing at a wooden shed deep in the forest. I’m carrying full gear for tenting, as I’ll spend most nights outdoors, with one hostel stay. My son joined for the first leg of the ride.
