  1. My first response to the question at the start of this vid was, you get out there and ride it. Then I remembered I bought a brand new Giant Trance Advanced Pro 1 3 weeks ago and it hasn't left my sitting room since it arrived. So I guess the answer is, sit and look at it while watching GMBN until the time comes that it must get dirty and send it 🤙🤙🤙

  2. Well that explains why you said you can't tell the difference between T-Type and Shimano XT. No affiliation.

Cable actuated T-Type just released and you guys have no mention of it.

I kind of wish you lot were real journalists instead of sales men.

  3. If you want a great riding experience come to Phoenix, Arizona. It’s hot and dry, but the early mornings are great. And the scenery is amazing.

  4. I have been looking for good flat pedal shoes. I have wide feet and have not had any luck finding show that fit width wise without getting to long.

  5. If you just got your first MTB, congrats and welcome to the club. First, stay away from fail videos, it will not do your confidence any good. Second, watching videos/films with big jumps and drops like Hardline, Rampage, or Blake is great but you are not those folks, yet. Know your limits. Now go have fun.

  6. I had an evil thought, appolgies to Owen for this but just after he says train head up just up there he waits for you to ride off and after a quick manical laugh he takes the helmet off and just chucked the bike and helmet and walks off… As I said I had an evil thought.

  7. As good as this video is, unfortunately it's another video that forgets to tell people to BED YOUR BRAKES IN when you just bought your bike!! Made that mistake recently… 🥲

  8. Blake, I genuinely love you. But whole channel/s kind of slowed down with Neil and Anna gone. Something is definitely missing and that can be felt.

  9. Good vid Blake, I found some points in it interesting as an over 40 something looking to return to mountain biking after a 20 year hiatus. I know it's probably not inkeeping with you guys promoting bike brands & new bikes etc.. but…

Could maybe you do a vid with tips on what to look out for when buying a 2nd hand bike? I.e checking the frame, forks, suspension for damage or wear, or how to check life left in the groupset i.e chain, chain rings wear etc…

I know there must be a lot of guys like me out there who simply can't justify spending ££££'s on a new top of the range bike yet, especially if they are just getting into or returning to the sport & not knowing if they will stick with it.

Please keep up the good work though making more of these types of vids for us newbies or oldies returning lol! As you are always very informative & honest with what you say 👏

  10. Awesome video, Blake and GMBN! Perfect for someone just getting into MTB and feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the info out there. The setup tips are super helpful. Now the challenge is to actually stop watching videos and go ride! 😄
