Hello, im currently working on this 80s panasonic, pretty new to doing my own bike work. It had some suntour downtubes on it, and i got some shimano adapters to give it a place to route through for a conversion to brifters. I of course took off the downtubes and realized that there were no holes in the frame and it was all one piece clamped down. What is the best way to finish this conversion? Ideally without having to drill any holes. Thank you!

You can find some specific clamp that have a little recess to pass a cable guide.
Like such : https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/0rAAAOSwNCdjtbpV/s-l1200.jpg
You can get a clamp on cable stop [like this](https://carsoncitybikeshop.com/cable-stop-or8-aly-dbl-28-6-sl/), or you can get clamp on shifter bosses and use the cable stop adaptors, [like this](https://problemsolversbike.com/products/downtube-shifter-mount).
Sometimes you can actually reuse the band clamp from an old pair of shifters as shifter bosses for adapters or other shifters, but they have to match the Campagnolo pattern.

I had something like this. Also, you can get what are called downtube cable housing stops. Most are for square braze on mounts, but there may be some old downtube shifter mounts that have square ends.
Or zip ties and housing all the way to the back.
