Picked up a set of Hunt Gravel Race Aluminium wheels on sale recently to upgrade from the stock set on my Search XR. Fresh set of Tervail Rultand 47's, MT800 rotors and metallic pads while I was at it. Took it for a quick spin along some gravel paths nearby on my lunch break and can definitely feel an improvement in acceleration and ride quality on the flats, will hit some elevation tonight after work and see how it climbs.
First time setting up tubeless and all seamed to go pretty smoothly, still holding air anyway!
Biggest surprise was how much bite I had from the brakes even before bedding in, big improvement over the pressed RT66 rotors and metallic pads I was running on the other wheelset, should be a bit more confidence inspiring on the descents around BC 👌
