  1. Honestly the coarse is abysmal, I understand that here in the US Ironman is limited in its bike course choices by the surrounding communities and logistics ect. So I have ridden on some rough roads
    But that is so dangerous

  2. Great video Dan, very accurate review of the bike course. Having rode it myself last Friday I totally agree with your views, I feel much better about the route having ridden it myself now, the roads are no worse than any I would normally ride on it’s just the UK at the moment. Yes I would agree with it being Hilly but felt there was definitely plenty of recovery time between climbs which I liked. Can’t wait to get blitzed by the pros at some point as well 😂 I managed one lap of the run which again did have a few hills, but again totally manageable and for context I’m around 100kg so no whippet. All in all totally buzzing for the event now 🤩
