This is part 5 of 10 of my trip to France & Spain riding through the Alps and Pyrenees in a group. On the 5th day we leave Grenoble and travel to Cannes where we spend 2 nights. More fun and games with the group losing each other along the way. The Route Napoleon is an absolutely biker’s dream, roads and scenery are a wonderful!
By the way, at around 14:15 I wasn’t sure if I was looking at a prison or not, I’ve discovered since that it was… Maison d’Arrêt de Grasse
– I still own the CB500X it was just resting 😉
Hoping you can “Like” the video, as this does help the channel.
All my best wishes, thanks again for watching, bye for now!

Seems like group riding involves a lot of faffing 😂 but the ride more than made up for any hassle. A great ride.
Hi Nick, great scenery again. I get the feeling you're being "pushed along" at a speed you're not happy at. As I said before group riding is not for me, Im like you go slow see more. Im not one for getting a "sticker" to say oh I did this or that pass in record time, without actuality being anything as your concentrating so hard on riding you miss all the lovely views. But thats just me mate. All the " where have you been?" stuff would completely spoil a trip for me. Ride safe mate ps you need to get back on the trusty 500x!!!
Cute road this Napoleon's road.
Hi nick. Great adventure. Nice roads. Just not a fan of group rides to be honest. Always seem to be pushing on ..old dave
Apart from the group getting “lost” and split up, it appears that you had a great day for weather and twisties. Looking forward to next week’s episode. Cheers, Jim
Hi nick just come across your vid rode your exact rout a few times on our Ducati ST4S and our Buell uylesses, even done a chunk of it on our Vespa Px, just some places of interest you may like see / do Nice to frejus but over the hills, brilliant ride, try and do the Gorges du verdon the white bridge route great road and more bends than you can shake a stick at and it’s the second deepest gorge after the Grand Canyon, but a great challenging ride, great scenery. When you come into Perpignan carry on to Argeles sur mere get on the coast road, med on your left and follow it to Costa roses a great road and turn then for the Pyrenees which is another great ride, have a blast, have fun give the med a wave from us …. Hi, have been following you since before passing my test almost a year ago to the day, and my new cb500x is almost a carbon copy of yours now. Have just bought myself a zumo xt and would like to know the neatest way of installing it while also having my iPhone mounted on the 10mm? Bar
