  1. When in 2024 I was on a bike in Lofoten and saw a car or camper parked in every possible place. I thought that sooner or later some restrictions would be introduced on foreign cars. It's not even about ecology anymore, I think that the locals have difficulty moving because of the heavy traffic, especially campers. But on the other hand, tourists are a big income for local communities. It will be hard to find a balance here. Because the bike, although the best transport for a tourist, will not be the most popular means of transport.

  2. Det er et livsfarlig helvete med sykler på norske veier.
Veiene er for smale, svingete og gjør forbikjøring livsfarlig!
🤜Forby tråsykler på veier. Kun tillates på gangveier

  3. I did my cycling in Norway between Oslo, Trondheim and Bergen back in the early 1990s (and Northern Norway 1988-89). That was just before the long tunnels, subsea tunnels, potholes and heavy traffic took over my country. Trollstigen was still open and the only access to Kristiandsund and the North Cape further north was by ferries. It was the golden age for road cycling, as far as I am concerned. But don't let these musings from a grumpy twat put you off. Good luck with your project !
