The EUKI project “Bridging European and Local Climate Action” (BEACON) promotes climate action and facilitates an exchange between national governments as well as 34 municipalities and 57 schools in Europe. As part of the BEACON project, the National Trust Ecofund (NTEF) held bike cinema events across Bulgaria. The bike cinema is an interactive way for children and adults to learn first hand about energy production and consumption. It is one of the ways in which NTEF uses educational activities to inform pupils about climate and energy in the country’s schools and kindergartens in the BEACON project.
BEACON works under the framework of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI).
