First Light On Snakes Pass

Welcome to Easter weekend 2025. A ride that I’ve been planning all week is to Snakes Pass, Derbyshire.

I got up especially early to catch the sunrise and take advantage of the quieter roads.

This is also an introduction to Still Miles, a series of reflective solo rides through the UK. Just me, my bike, and stories on the road. It’s not about speed or destination, but what riding gives you in those quiet, in-between moments.
