  1. New subscriber here. I have used 2 other smart watches. Don’t remember the first but the current one is an Apple. Battery life is dismal and am looking to go with a Garmin. I am retired and not a runner but go for walks and am interested in heart rate and sleep performance as well as blood oxygen. Thanks for the tour of watches. All the best from north Texas.

  2. I just upgraded my 'activity tracker' band to a Garmin and after paining over the used and new market, the various price points and other factors… I went with… a used Venu 2S – not a mark on the screen or bezel and I got it for about a third of it's launch price at a high street used electronics retailer who offer a 24 month guarantee. I didn't want something that screamed "look at me! I go to the gym! I work out! I go running! can you tell?! Look at my watch! LOOK AT MY WATCH! CAN YOU TELL I WORK OUT?" and I'm blown away by how much fitness functionality, the accuracy of the sensors and the GPS that you get out of something that looks so unassuming and nothing like you imagine a fitness watch would.

  3. I got a hand-me-down fénix 6x pro solar and from the video it looks like I missed a lot of features between the 6 and the 7 like touchscreen, better solar charging, and the endurance/hill tracking. Still very much satisfied with this though

  5. Am I too late 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣🤣, epix pro looks stunning. Do these have safety features which are pulled from Garmin in-reach ? Me and the kids love treks out but safety is always on my mind 👍 thanks

  6. After getting back into running this year I’ve been using my Apple Watch Series 4, but can’t help but be tempted by the forerunner watches, currently debating between the 265 and 965!

  7. I am no much of a runner. However I do stay active. Riding my bike. Lifting weights, walking, sports ect. My work is pretty rough as well. What watch would you recommend for me? Love the fitness and recovery/sleep/ hydration idea. Thanks

  8. QUESTION – I am a shift worker and my sleep is often at different times. Usually from about 12pm -8pm then I head to work. I’ve read problems about sleep tracking with Garmins. I want a smart watch to track and advise workouts but I understand it takes sleep into account. I don’t want to pay 1500 AUD to find out my watch doesn’t recognise my sleep. Have they fixed this or is there a watch out there that may suit me

  9. As someone who jus start back running its nice to see they are all these new gadgets that can help you become better i myself would like to experience running with carbon plated shoes and watches. The enduro 2 or 965 sounds like a good fit for me

  10. I have been running consistently since 2021 ish. I ran on and off for years before that but in 2021 I did my first marathon. I ran it with my partner of 10 years on my 30th birthday. Then as we made it over the finish line he took me aside and proposed. 💍 just dreamt. We have been hooked on running ever since and will be running Barcelona marathon in March 2025 and chasing PBs. My watch is not quite keeping up now and I’m looking to upgrade. I’m all about battery life and tracking as we live to go out on long runs and I aim to do a few longer ultras 😊 probs the fenix 7 pro.

  11. I’m getting my instincts watch today. The 40mm. I want to see how I am with a beginner watch before getting something like the fenix or enduro. Also, please comment any hiking trails or races that’s around the world. That share more than in one state. I would love to try them out. Ex: spartan race etc.
