Cycling to Luxembourg—country #40 via old railway! 🚲
Starting the VennBahn cycle route.. a 125 km or 77 mile paved route from Aachen into Luxembourg!
This cycle route is actually a converted train route, which we automatically knew meant there wouldn’t be too crazy of climbs.. if a train could climb in, so could our untrained legs!
We chose this route for a handful of reasons, but one major one was that it ends in Luxembourg… which will be my 40th country to explore!
Today, we cycled the first 17 miles or 27 km of the route.. stopping for a three hour escape from the rain at a German pub on the side of the path before tucking into the woods for the night.
