In today’s adventure, I challenge myself and put my new Tailfin Aeropack to the test on some of the best gravel routes around Hinckley and Leicestershire! As requested, I’m sharing the ride and the route with you, my awesome viewers. 🚴

This epic journey includes highlights like Beacon Hill, Swithland Woods, Cropston Reservoir, Thornton Reservoir, the Snibston Blue Trails, Hicks Lodge, the Conkers Circuit, and so much more. I connect each trail with scenic country lanes to create the ultimate 135-mile ride.

But here’s the twist: it’s been a while since my last long-distance ride. Can I push through and complete the full route? How does the Aeropack perform under pressure? And… how many cafés can I sneak in along the way? ☕🍰

Join me for an unforgettable gravel ride filled with stunning views, challenging trails, and plenty of fun moments.

  1. You went right past my house, unexpected haha!

What jacket and trousers are you wearing for this? I've been trying to find some suitable clothing for long distance that isn't lycra

  2. Didn't realise you were from round Hinckley way. Not sure how I missed your accent because I've got relations from there… ma'duck 😅
I'm up in Northumberland myself, you were about 5 miles from my house when you dropped down into Haltwhistle on your GB Divide trip.
