Two days ago, I booked the ferry tickets for a cycling trip in Sicily. Since then, I’ve been riding every single day — minimum 15 kilometers — to train the legs, the lungs, and the general sense of “what have I gotten myself into.”

But this isn’t just physical training. These short rides are also my chance to figure out how I’m going to film the whole thing. Holding a mobile in one hand while steering with the other isn’t exactly sustainable (or safe), so I’m testing ideas — maybe a 360 camera on the handlebars, maybe a GoPro on a chest mount. Still undecided. The goal is to find something that lets me switch between POV and selfie-style shots without stopping every two minutes or crashing into a wall.

So this video covers Day 1 (a ride to Rabat) and Day 2 (Pembroke). Just two friends easing into the miles and trying to make something simple but good. No sponsors. No gear haul. Just movement, moments, and mildly controlled chaos.

Open to ideas — if you’ve figured out a good cycling-filming setup, let me know.
