Hey! Not sure if right subreddit. A while ago i made my own bicycle – and it works very well! Though recently after carrying and putting pressure in the wrong place, the brazing failed on one of the water bottle bosses. It is pretty clean cut, and I can see it also want brazed properly… ( i was in a time crunch with the thread insert, rest of frame is good).
My question is how I would reattach it? As clean of a break it is, it would be easy to clean it up and rebraze it – the problem is the paint. Does anyone know of a good way to reattach without needing to repaint the entire frame? :))
