Independent assessments from ISW and the UK Ministry of Defense confirm Russia’s advance rate has collapsed—dropping from 165 square miles in January to just 78 in March. Meanwhile, Russia has lost 138,000 soldiers in 2025 alone. Ukraine’s control is holding, but with U.S. support under threat and Russian pressure increasing, the war’s next phase remains uncertain.

F Trump every time he blames Ukraine for 'starting' this war!!! If he's really so desperate to prove his alliance and love of Russia, then he ought to order American troops to join N. Korean ones in helping Russia invade Ukraine.
As for Ukraine, they ought to be given emergency temporary (to be later reviewed and finalised) status into both Europe and the UN. And then everyone else can stop with this pretense, and shut down Putin's efforts for good by moving ground troops, and equipment into the Ukraine to help them push Russia back.
They ought not to stop for a hundred or so miles past the Russian border and turn that into a DMZ and clarify that any attempt by Russia to move back into that area will be considered a second invasion attempt and will be met by force. Putin, like Trump are pathetic losers who's only strength is born from their lack of care and compassion for those that do lay down their lives in the name of their respective nations.

Ukraine doesn't want to survive on handouts? THAT'S GREAT! We never intended to give this stuff away for free and Zelensky has promised many times to pay us back WHILE begging for more aid. As exploitative the Trump mineral deal IS given Zelensky's behavior it is completely reasonable. I mean, he met with political rivals in the U.S. before meeting with the president, then insisted the aid he received from the U.S. were all grants, refused to pay it back at any point, and demanded the U.S. give him more and be grateful for the opportunity. Everyone complains about the U.S. abandoning its allies but this is an example of the U.S. allies abandoning the U.S. when those allies are the ones in need. Given all that I've learned I am convinced that Zelensky would happily agree to a deal such as this if a democrat or an establishment republican had taken office in 2025 instead of Trump and praised its brilliance. All of this is despite the facts that Donald Trump was the first leader of any country to provide Ukraine with actual military aid and that Zelensky has not only never claimed the European aid was anything but a lone to be paid back, but also ASSERTED that said aid was in the form of loans to repay.
