This video was filmed in Girona, Catalunya, Spain; a cycling mecca that has been home to many professional cyclists including Ben O’Connor, Jack Haig, Esteban Chaves, Ryan Mullen, George Bennett, James Knox, Dorian Godon, Jay Vine, and at one point George Hincappie, Lance Armstrong and Tyler Hamilton. Girona is used for training for races such as the Tour de France, Volta Catalunya, Vuelta Espana, Paris-Nice, Giro d’Italia and more. Teams such as Bora-Hansgrohe, INEOS-Grenadiers, Israel-Premier Tech Pro Cycling, Human Powered Health, Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team, UAE Team Emirates and others use Girona for team training camps and rider testing.

Great advice for advanced cyclists! Thank you for sharing again Tristan 🤙
Outstanding tips and reminders… especially the patience part… 😅🍻
Less watts = more speed
14 hours a week 😎 Thank you for explaining 🦫
Great list! The one thing I'd add under the equipment heading is drivetrain efficiency. Having a clean, waxed drivetrain can save you a meaningful amount of watts, and it's one of your bigger bang-for-buck upgrades/improvements. I'm a big Silca fanboy in this department.
I’m whacking.
Solid advice as always mate. I'll be putting my Assiomas to good use on the Neusiedlersee Radmarathon next month along with trying to improve my position to reduce the dreaded wind effect around the lake!
My tip: Never stop pedaling when you're training, many riders coast way too much.
I'm feeling my triceps way to much in the aeroposition, what am I doing wrong?
The subtle roasting of Phil G in your clips continues. I'm here for it 🤣
99 tour stage still the fastest at 50.4kph/31.32mph LOL gg…
Really helpful -Thank you
Love the video!
A proper bikefit and cycling shoes that fit well can increase your power output. Sometimes even up to 10 percent. I got some proper shoes and it is very noticable. Not 10 percent but definitely an increase!
A good one with one exception: talking about tire pressure without considering the rider weight. Like all those ones where shorter cranks are promoted, regardless of the height of rider.
Beer gut is more aero than flat stomach.
Top tips 👌🏼
love this video well done!
can you do one of these except its how to ride more comfortably than your mates?
Great video! Now for an aero/perfomance based bike fit video dialling in stack, reach and saddle setback 🫡
Great points.
When I try to hold the aero position with my arms at 90' I have my knees hit my torso. Any suggestions ?
If I ride in an aero position for a short time my arms start to hurt and then they be hurting for the whole ride. how do I improve this?
Weight loss should be on the list ; )
Fun fact; aerobic uptake is the ONLY thing that matters. Coppi, Anquetil, Merckx, Hinault, Lemond, etc. You cannot ride yourself into being a top cyclist.
Great vídeo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻
