  1. Liked the information panels (learned to pause the video when they come up). About the right length of running time. Very good. Reminds of when I went LNER Kings Cross to Edinburgh a couple of years ago. Very enjoyable first-class accommodation and service.

  2. 4:55 Why are you still calling it 'Humberside'? Went out of use years ago (except for the police and fire services) and even when it was in place there were plenty of people who refused to use it.

  3. Hey LNER what system do you use which we can hear alerting the driver to the fact they’re nearing the next booked stop and their formation?

We use Greenspeed CDAS at my TOC but it’s a visual guide only. I was impressed when I heard that alert!

  4. hi there im an aussie i bet i can surprise you UK drivers .. i know how to drive 801/1 train and 395 and 390 and a 387 and 377 then 375 my fav lines are BML,LNWR,SEHS i love to hear from you … thank you for reading this…..

  5. Wow! What a fantastic video! Thank you for using mph and miles travelled hahaha so this American doesn't have to convert Kph into mph, hahaha 😆

I just subscribed to your channel as it's the first time I've seen it come across my YouTube feed.

I'm looking forward to watching more!

    Well done, gang!! ❤😊

  6. Excellent, thanks for this new addition to your cab rides, I have watched and enjoyed all of the other cab rides you have produced. All of these are enjoyable to me as my youngest son is a driver with LNER based at Doncaster!!👍😊

  7. Lovely run, thank you. Is the maximum cruising speed of 123 mph a tribute to the maximum attained by Mallard during her record run?

  8. Interesting video: thanks for sharing. Until I saw this video my only familiarity with the Doncaster to York route had been through playing a well-known signalling simulation so it is nice to see this route from a different perspective.
