The cobbles of Flanders are a nice massage compared to those on the course of Roubaix
I've done it with a road bike and rode almost all of the 19 sectors in the middle of the "road" and not on the sides.
I will definitely not do it again. At least not on the road bike.
It's the kind of ride that you'll love or hate. There is not a middle ground imo.
