Hi,

I recently purchased this [Canyon Exceed CF 4](https://www.canyon.com/en-hu/mountain-bikes/cross-country-bikes/exceed/exceed-cf/exceed-cf-4/3833.html) bike, and even though I really like it, it seems slower compared to my old 3x MTB (it was a 44-36-22t setup, but never used the 2 smaller rings, only the 44t one).

I really want to upgrade the chainring to a bigger one (36-38t or 40t maybe), but it seems impossible to fit anything bigger than 34t with the current direct mount crank.

My question is, can you guys suggest any crankset (1x or 2x or 3x) I can fit on the new bike? I won’t use the smaller chainrings based on the past 10 years, so it would be a fixed large chainring MTB.

I’m searching for solutions, and so far I found this one, but I’m not sure if it will fit: [https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-rival-wide-axs-dub-crank/138194106/p](https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-rival-wide-axs-dub-crank/138194106/p)

Can this work with the 40t or 46t option on this bike, or should I go for this [Sram X5 GXP 3x](https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sram-x5-gxp-crankset/136003693/p) set or any other set?

Thank you so much for any help in advance!
