Ilkeston Bike Ride : Lost in Industrial Wasteland

This Ilkeston Bike Ride took me along the disused Nottingham Canal to a point where I was lost. As you will see, I discovered an odd way to get to Bennerley Viaduct on my eBike.

The video starts with a quick drone flight just to set the scene, it’s good to see that there is still water in the canal at this point.

Bennerley Viaduct was a suprise, I didn’t imagine that there would be roads from the old iron works remaining there. It’s a pity I have no photographs of Bennery Iron Works.
