With a happy Halloween to you all, I re-make this epic explore in my hometown as rumours are starting to circulate that the building will be ripped down early 2024. I tried to regain entry recently but all entrances are blocked up. So don’t waste your time.
Wellingborough’s post office on midland road was built in 1908. Its been abandoned for many years as the main service was moved to the little building next door and then finally moving to Sheep street in 2019. The place was used mainly used by the homeless as a place to sleep. I was then shown a way in by a member of the homeless. So I called a few Kotchers to accompany me inside, just in case something went wrong. We found a vault and saw the furnace which would heat the whole building. This building is a very spooky place and perfect for a Halloween Special. Big thank you to the Kotchers involved. We all hope you enjoy the video just as much as we did filming.

  1. Reminds me of me and my brothers going into a disused farmhouse that used to be where the park farm industrial estate is we were all giggling and laughing good times

  2. If they do knock this beautiful buidling down, at least donate the Furnace and other bits like the Front door crest stone work to the Welly museum, it would be a shame to lose all of its history!

  3. I drove past the other day and I remember being in there and all in use, sad but Wellingborough high streets are getting better now some shops seem to be opening up

  4. Brilliant video ! I’m a postman and started my career at royal mail back when the sorting office was on those premises, very strange seeing a very familiar location almost unrecognisable after what must be about 25 years of decay.
