The third and final day of our bike tour with Josie and Fukuya comes to a conclusion as we cycled across the border of Slovakia and Hungary and complete our “3 Countries in 3 Days” cycling adventure.

After a long, 100+ kilometer day of cycling the day before and slightly scary night of wild camping along the edge of the Danube river in Slovakia, we (Darren, Kevin, Josie and Fukuya) packed up our bicycles and began cycling south – eventually crossing over the border into Hungary and completing our goal of cycling across three different countries (Austria, Slovakia and Hungary) in 3 days.
This was a major accomplishment for 14-year-old Josie and her father, Fukuya.
After lunch, Kevin and I said goodbye to Josie and Fukuya as they boarded a train and made their way back home to Vienna with their bicycles.
Then, Kevin and I were back on our our again, as we began cycling east – eventually making camp for the night in an inexpensive local campsite (which we thought might be a nudist resort).
