I spent the day in Glasgow (one of my favourite cities). I met up with the famous Scotsman in Tenerife and went for a posh curry in Mowgli and visited some historic Scottish Pubs.

  1. 😂 the real date would probably be 884, we didn't build any of these amazing structures in the 1800s, not a chance, research the population over the last 1000s years that the powers that be tell us, ❤😊

  2. Thank you for visiting the city that we call home . We have lived and worked in Glasgow for over 40 years and it’s a city we love . Wish we had known you were coming and we would have met you and shown you the real city . It’s awesome . Thanks for being so positive about the City we will love forever x11:03

  3. Can you imagine this society trying to replicate those stunning buildings without any telescopic handlers, scaffolding ….wish I’d been in the game at that time…55 from rovrum….great video though mate👍

  4. Cheers James, Enjoyed the C R Mackintosh references thank you. I am also a fan. 27:09 – did you notice the portrait of him on the side of the building along with some of his rose designs?😊💜

  5. Scotland in general is a beautiful landscape,… England has about 60 million pple, Scotland has a few mill, sorry for being snarky but, enjoyment of any country is the ability to look around without a gawper over your shoulder ✌️🇯🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 13:20

  6. You can always tell a tourist in Glasgow, they are looking up. Glasgow is a truly stunning city, most of my fellow locals just don't realise it. As much as you saw of it's beauty, there is just so much more to see. Great video BTW.

  7. Hi there James the Glasgow is a beautiful place mate no point getting wet to the bone mate nothing being sick mate you going lose your weight with your walking all over the place mate. So be safe in your travels mate

  8. A further comment James.. Oh dear what awfully bad weather you encountered, & a heck of a task for Kevin to do.

Go back there to meet up with Kevin again for a weekend with Helen this summertime.

Kevin the Scotsman is King 👑 Much love & respect to U 2 🌟✨🧡🌟✨🧡👍

  9. I was based in Faslane in the 80s, Glasgow was one of our go to places on a weekend. We would stay at the Queens Hotel just by the station. The 80s were fantastic for the music and the new romantic type bars.

Scotland is one of my favourite places in the world. The food and the people.

    I think I spent 3 years drunk.

  10. Do you really need to wear that Hideous blue jacket . I can sen you £20 for one that’s not so out there. And don’t be so pecemistic, they wont let me in ! They’ll charge us £30 . For gods sake ,

  11. Hi James, just saw this video and have to say it would've been a perfect video until you slagged off Edinburgh.
I love Glasgow. I was there a few weeks ago in fact I was in places such as the Horseshoe and Trumans which are great bars.
I like going all over the uk and document where I've been but I dont slag them off. I wouldn't take the mickey out of Barnsley mate not that I'd even go there.
But the thing is that i and some of my family that normally enjoy your channel have saw you offend Edinburgh is pretty bad. Anyway, enjoy your weekend

  12. The Eastern European guy with the Violin has no talent it's a recorded backing track . Only has Three tracks he knows only the draw of the bow nothing else .. there are several of them doing this in every city ….. Absolute no shame …

  13. Really enjoyed you showing us Glasgow James's with Kev, it really looks a lovely place 😊 as for the deliveroo bikes they are a pain in the backside they cycle like madmen everywhere!

  14. Really great vlog , brought back memories of a weekend we had in Glasgow, absolutely loved it . Thank you for taking the time to walk the miles . Also thank you for not putting any negative connotations on the city ( like your Northern Friends did unnecessarily 🙄 ) The bus tour we did Hop on Hop off was fabulous, and definitely worth a go . We got to see the amazing carpet factory in a park , covered with glass and I think mirrors. We also discovered that the tenants brewery is older than the sarcophagus next to it .
We were surprised to see the statue in George square didn’t have the traffic cone hat on 🤔
Love your vlogs , but please don’t go down the click bait thumbnails of your Northern mates 🤦🏽‍♀ you really are better than that 😔

  15. I always think of travelling to Scotland as going upwards, but when you get there it's flat. That does my head in because when you look at the planet the North is upwards, but who says we are looking at the planet the right way round, who decided that North was North? 🤔

  16. Eh up mate. Good to see a new blog.
Happy days. Windy and rain. Good old urate. You want to see the rain here. Comes down in bucket loads.
Victoriana build beats uk modern approved building shite. Clearly planners and councils get back handers to approve rubbish.
Some cracking architecture. Good too see. But not the modern rubbish.
Playing a bit Daft !! Natural to you daft lad.
Glasgow looks cracking mate. Even in the rain.
Good to meet you mate. I will check his channel.
Good blog as usual.mate. Love to both from 🇹🇭. X

  17. When you said Vatican you gave it the right description. Wow. And as for Scotland being better than England, it is in so many ways. Just can not handle the cold or the midges. The people though are great. Only seen Glasgow at night, having missed turning for the A9 to go to Inverness and previously in the day going around the city to Greenock for the ferry to Dunoon. Could be Gourock, which ever has the shortest ferry ride across the River Clyde.
