could be totally wrong as I am no motorcycle hill climbing expert by any means, but it seems like from sound alone the 4 stroke are getting up the hill farther and eaiser, that immediate power delivery of a 2 stroke seems to be a bit too much, the 4 stroke seems to have , more power control.
