It’s been a while, hope you’ll enjoy something a little bit different this year 🙂

Took Mads for his first bikepacking adventure on the Omnium Mini-Max cargo bike & explored part of the Badlands area & route on a slower pace.

See you again soon!

  1. I looked up the geology of the area after you asked for comments about the purple rocks. Apparently there is a lot of garnet from ancient volcanos.

  2. I enjoyed watching the cargopacking. I have a minimax on order at the moment and look forward to doing some trips too. Keep making vids!

  3. Haha we are currenty thinking about moving to Andalusia to the coast near Gibraltar. I am dreaming about bikepacking with my dog and now this video comes…hope you and Mads had a lot of fun…

  4. Martijn, so good to have you back! 🫶

Maybe that’s just me reading too much into things, but this felt melancholic. Which is beautiful and sad. While the badlands videos showed the brutal side of riding bike there, this felt like it was about re:connecting. I am so looking forward to everything upcoming.

  5. This brought me so much joy. As soon as I heard "welcome to this video" I was smiling like a kid on christmas lol still some of the most inspirational content out there for me. It's actual art. And coincidentally, about halfway through the video I was thinking you should make documentaries…your style would be amazing.

Also….I'm no geologist, but I do teach chemistry…the purple rocks could possibly have some iron or manganese in them.
