Daphne’s cycling journey continues! This was her longest ride yet and only her third time on the bike. Since she’s still new to cycling, I decided to take her to Windsor Castle—a mostly flat and beginner-friendly route. Watch as she tackles the distance, builds confidence, and enjoys the ride! 🚴♀️

Make the next ride a short one . 14-20 miles . Including a coffee . It’s easy to scare a newbie off by doing epics too soon and leaving them sore for a week and not wanting to get on the bike for a while . Short regular rides where she’s fresh enough to tackle a ride the next day is key and will built her bike fitness . Box hill might scare her off if done too soon . Great video and well done Daphne 🙌
Should probably do a loop in Richmond Park. You're a "budol" Avocado Cyclist! 😆
🤙🏽⚡️👌🏽
There's no route on your link tree for this one! Can you add?
Well done Daphne on your 1st 30+. As for the next big ish… Id say ask her when she has recovered.
The route is very head windy always & 35miles max is more likely what you covered with Daphne. Knowing these roads you both took. But still a huge acheivement. Did Daphne commute / cycle at all before getting the Sworks or superhuman?😂
Box Hill for a novice is too much after the distance to get there. Richmond Park + 3 laps max ( that’s 23mile with open hills ) then 20 there & ride back. As you pointed out her 1st hill was up to the castle… could be pushing too far way too soon.
Well done Daphne, fantastic effort 👏👏👏
Great ride out and she looks strong .Your tuition is spot on dude and it is a worry looking after a new cyclist on busy roads but you are “ The Godfather of cycling “ 😂😂I still think her seat is to low 🤔
You have to take her to the most famous cycling destination of them all, which is Regent's Park
When i saw you were out on the weekend, i knew that wind was going to get you. I think there should be a saying in the cycling community "Headwinds will either break you, or make you" because they certainly break me, along with hills, rain, fatigue, rides without cafe stops, punctures, over dressing for a ride, under dressing for a ride, bad drivers, and finally, needing a wee on a main road👌I actually cheered too myself watcing Daphne beat her first hill. Good going Daphne, keep it up, the summer will be excellant.
If your thinking of doing Biggin Hill, you can do Brighton in 55 miles from Balfes, Waterloo. A few steep climbs, but i assume you would get them also towards Biggin. There's a few routes which add on 5-10 miles, but they makes the hilsl a bit more rolling, instead of pure climbs.
Richmond park next
Cycle to Buckingham, I want to do that route, would be good to see you guys try it out for me before I do it😃, my starting point would be Maidenhead
Big up the London avocado 🥑 boys ❤
