On-track with me is my friend and former British F3 teammate, James Pull. James is pretty handy in a go-kart, so it was really interesting to pick apart his onboard POV footage on his home track (Rye House). There aren’t any major differences, but you can see how just small little things add up to a whopping half a second per lap!
Did you notice anything else in the video I’m missing?

Rule nr 1 is always "use the entire track"
Is rye house kart track nixe
Bouncing out of your seat helps out of slow corners
I think he watches your videos, or he could be using a similar startegy
You can even see in the intro that he lifts and turns on 3 wheels, which is essential for karts like these.
Human DRS is ALWAYS necessary
Activating DRS on the kart circuit is a menace.
Hoddesdon… stadium was always tricky. If you lift, you're doing it wrong. You are driving the wet line
Not sure getting the head down in a pro kart there is gonna affect your half a second to be honest
what is the chassis manufacturer of these karts?
Which kart are u using?? Gas or electric
The point is YOU LOSEEE !!!! 😂
Ryhouse
Prokart ❤
Or he's slightly lighter than you
"he copies your line" 😂
The amount of oversteer is ridiculous
Day 3 of guessing the track review: Rye House Karting Raceway, advanced track layout, Hoddesdon, North London
While leaning forward doesn’t have much of an effect in a short straight, it decreases the load on the rear tyres allowing for more acceleration
“He copies my line in a few places like this one single hairpin” 😂
Can I have some tips for rye house?
Cool briefly bumping into you at silverstone today! I wish I had more time to talk more and pick your brain at some racing advice! Lol.
Imagine driving 4 stroke😂😂😂
you’re American but racing at a track called rye house in london. i know this because i used to race there a few years back such a good track, also the f1 7 time world champion used to race karts there too
Wwoah 😮
Pink color giving different messages
That’s the spirit, even tho you were behind – he was still taking your racing line 😂😂
Human drs is necessary at any track that requires you to wear a helmet lol
I have some questions about James his helmet design 🙂
I mean bro has two engines that could be apart of if
Nice lap around rye
Pretending karting isnt stupid and in any shape or form related to real racing is cute.
So that's called "human Drs" i always confused why some guy in karting do that i watch It at video
Also you counter steered on exit of a corner
I love rye house it’s my fav track
Woah he’s on rye house kart way
Do you drive 2 stroke or 4 stroke?
He hits his apex and doesn't slide 🤭
More of these side by side please!
He must have a stronger engine
Is that rye house
Rye house – still the best ciruit I raced on in the UK.
ducking your head for 2 seconds at the end of the straight at rye house is doing nothing lmao
If u knew that why couldn't u catch him lol
Dual engine karts?!? I've never seen this, besides some rare custom monstrosities. Is this a class?
