On-track with me is my friend and former British F3 teammate, James Pull. James is pretty handy in a go-kart, so it was really interesting to pick apart his onboard POV footage on his home track (Rye House). There aren’t any major differences, but you can see how just small little things add up to a whopping half a second per lap!

Did you notice anything else in the video I’m missing?

  1. While leaning forward doesn’t have much of an effect in a short straight, it decreases the load on the rear tyres allowing for more acceleration

  2. you’re American but racing at a track called rye house in london. i know this because i used to race there a few years back such a good track, also the f1 7 time world champion used to race karts there too
