Back on the Tarmac SL8 After Winter – Tackling Two Top 100 UK Climbs!

The sun was shining, so I took the opportunity to get back out on my Specialized Tarmac SL8 after winter for a solid ride in the stunning Ribble Valley. This ride wasn’t just any ride – I took on nearly 5,000 feet of climbing over 40+ miles, including two of the UK’s Top 100 climbs:

✅ Nick o’ Pendle – A short but brutally steep climb that bites hard!
✅ Trough of Bowland – A tough and stunning climb deep in the Bowland Fells.

After months of winter miles on my Trek Domane SL5, it felt amazing to get back on the SL8, but did I bite off more than I could chew with these climbs? Watch to find out!
