On one beautiful October’s day we had a little day drive through the vineyards to a beautiful small town of Jarnac. Charente is full of vineyards producing grapes to make Cognac and Jarnac is located in the middle of it all. Join our walk around the vineyards and the town and get that late autumn warmth from the video. This is why we love the rural France here in the South West.
We are Robert and Jyrki – Irish and Finnish artists living in Helsinki, Finland. We bring you travel, lifestyle, interiors, renovation and more. Get inspired by the French way of life in beautiful South West of France!

Have a nice evening 🌆 thank you for the trip….
It's dark early here and blasting with rain, so thank you for bringing a glimpse of the sun 😊
Thank you for the beautiful tour and commentary
Thanks for the lesson very interesting and beautiful scenery and picturesque towns..
Every one of your videos is like taking a vacation in France. I really enjoy your videos thanks so much for sharing.
Charming little town of Jarnac…( François MITTERRAND ) and it's magnificent vineyard…with its excellent Cognac naturally..Thank you both for this magnificent video of very sunny Charente.🤩😍🤩 from Burgundy (21)
Thanks guys…another interesting walk and talk!
Thanks guys.
I I believe the part of Cognac alcohol which evaporates is locally called the 'angels' share'.
Merci pour cette belle et intéressante visite de Jarnac. Toujours heureux de vous retrouver tous les deux et d’apprécier les belles musiques d’accompagnement de vos vidéos ❤
A post pops up from Charente Living. Come with us as we show you a little of the Cognac region and the town of Jarnac, A quiet 20 minute stroll through its streets and alleys along tow paths od marshelled water corralled one time to work the mill wheels ,now stationary , Bond warehouses of amber liquid maturing in their casks as their Angels Share is absorbed into the walls and air around them. Apartments overlook both still and racing flumbes of water as it decides to make its dash for the sea. All in a languid afternoon in France. Slainte.
Next maybe a visit to Limoges?
Fantastic tour. Thank you for sharing your adventures!! ❤

Robert and Jyrki, I really enjoy your videos. They make me want to go! And the imagery and music are beautifully married. Love the soundtrack!
Merry Christmas guys, have a wonderful Christmas filled with loads of love and laughter. All my best wishes from South Africa.❤
By far your music selection is the best of all channels I subscribe to. A joy to watch.
The black mold is called The Angels Share
Thank you guys for the wonderful program showing such a beautiful region. I'll probably never get there as Australia is so far away. You open up a completely different world for me and I find that utterly delightful. l learned through you about where all that cognac was made. I had only heard of the different types. The fields with the vineyards looked so beautiful.
please just pass dont stay !
I miss home so much.
This part of France is the best kept secret of France.
Been expatriated to L’os Angeles for almost 15 years.
We’re currently plotting to move back to Jarnac and its area.
I’m so done with big cities.
Thank you so much for this short segment and great to have a current visual of what I left behind.
Charente est charmant… your phone/camera is superbly used throughout, so both of you work the camera very well. Now, a sip of that golden ambrosia somewhere on a deck on the Charente in her flow, late afternoon breeze, the glistening glasses with perhaps a Hennessy, before the stroll to the evening repast… ah yes! Sublime. Thank you for the drone shot of the November vineyards in the gloaming after talking of them earlier… elegant, casual, historical and quiet – what's not to love?🤌💐
