Great review, as always. I would be interested to see a video comparing the GB 350S against the Triumph Speed 400. As an older returning biker, I'm currently thinking of buying the Triumph Speed 400, but I like the look of the Honda. I'm wondering if it might be a bit underpowered though. It would be great to see a comparison of the two.
On my shopping wish list for sure
headlight let's it down but you can change that out
Beautiful machine + a reliable work horse 😳🔥👏🏻👏🏻‼️🌟
Give it 12 Months? The Power Mods will be flooding the market and easily giving 28-30hp.
In the market of a small retro bike. Do mostly local commuting and some 140km B roads occasionally, when weather is good and I have no rush.
So I look and seek easy maintenance, cheep ownership and robust design as I dont want to have the bike in the garage all time but on the house driveway for easy access in the summer period, if I lock it in to the garage it will not be used as the car is just easier accessed.
Will the bike be sturdy for a bit of rain and sunshine or is a another brand/nodel to prefere?
I paid less than that for a Kawasaki Z500! Obviously it's a naked Street fighter instead of a retro but my God is it 3-4X the bike… That Honda is pretty but needs something similar to the 286cc engine. Specs are pathetic! 20hp? I guess if you're just a total cruiser that's cool they don't sell it in the United States & I don't know what Europe is like haha 🤷 i ride Honda also so I'm not a hater
Four grand? FOUR? GRAND?
These are gonna FLY outta the showrooms.
This same bike is £2100 OTR in India….
If only they'd bring this to the U.S. Yes, the (theoretical) future 500cc version will be terrific, albeit more coin. But there is a market for the lower cc version in the States.
That looks like my first Honda in 1975
I need one in all black
If it can put a smile on your face and keep your money in your wallet, it has to be a good thing right?
Awesome bike. A 650 or 750cc would be perfect… I miss the CB1100 from a few years back.
Just got the Aussie model last week , it came with Dunlop arrowmax GT 601 tyres over here, they also had a red colour they could get in , but I went with the matte blue denim
It shud have analogue twin dial to make it look more classic ….also I have seen many complaints on its wheels…it just breaks …in INDIA it even has its classic variant named cb 350 higness which I find more better looking
I hope the GB500 version for the States has wider, longer mud guards and dual gauges with tach. Maybe something like the GB350C with tach.
I mostly drive 30-50km per daily basis….this might be a better option…. relaxed posture which is better for my back instead of aggressive posture
There were 2 inital models introduced in India one was cb350 dlx , and the other one was Cb350 dlx peo,the charging came in built in both, the diffrence was Dlx pro had bluetooth buttons ,,which you can toggle with to view all the information on the small display ,
Shortly after they introuced Honda cb350 Rs.Which is what you see in the video , a bit sportier look same specs minus the charging port. to cater to teens or college/uni going guys !
i tool the dlx back in 2021 and till know i have done around 27340is miles , trust me i have taken it on the mountains and even coast.. absolutely loved this machine !!
I’m 173cm and for my first bike is it good to consider ? Benz I thought to get cb350rs or speed t4 or speed 400 ?
I’m 76 in April maybe it’s time to downsize from my speed 1200 , looks a great bike and a good review, cheers
I picked mine up today, even better than I remembered on the test ride. So happy with it. Chose black.
The eco light on the dash should've been a shift light
My 1964 Honda S90 had 8-1/2 hp. This modern bike with 3.8x the displacement has only 2.5 x the hp? It's a beautiful bike but it seems that Honda could have squeezed out another 10 hp. What about a 450cc? Or even a 650cc?
I wanted to like the GB350S because it looks cool but 178kg is closer to the weight of my Tracer 700 than my CBF250 and with the usable rev range in the higher gears only being from around 3500 to 6000 you're going to be changing gear as often as you would on a peaky 2 stroke. If I was replacing the CBF250 my money would be going on the best Honda' CB300R I could find, a bike that's 30kg down and 10bhp up on the GB, and also looks very cool in my opinion.
In 5th at 40-50 mph? Don’t go there till 65mph, 5th gear is a overdrive gear🤷🏻♂️
It’s a shame not launched in Australia 🇦🇺 it would have made top sales
I’m just curious how many Americans would buy this? If it were priced under $4k it would sell better than the trail 125.
Beautiful looking bike, very tempted as haven’t had a bike for about 4 years now, but I just wish it had a little more go, a 500cc would be perfect, is there one coming or should I just bite the bullet with this?
The fuel cap, speedo, side panel, key style, wing mirrors etc. are incredibly similar to the CG125, I understand where this sits as a budget retro bike on the market however at such a cheap price point I wonder how the quality of materials will hold up in the long term. Honda have come a very very long way since then though so I doubt it'll be poor like the CG. & it looks awesome.
i was so excited, but 15kw… it really needs 25…
Great review. Would you recommend it as a beginner's bike?
I love it! I ordered one for myself, unfortunately there is such interest in this model that delivery is in half a year 🙁
Dear lord and Honda… please bring this to the US… I will buy!
Wish they sold these in the US.
Owned 4 years ago..cb350 highness in india ..good bike….good handlig like 100cc bike….light clutch..good torque..smooth and refined engine….37k kilometres now….external oil filter and internal screen filter are included in this bike…usually external oil filter change every oil change by service center and sreen filter did not clean( actually manual says 24k kilometres replacement)remove clutch side engine cover and clean mesh screen filter every 3 oil changes…otherwise screen filter clogged..oil circulation is not done properly…in future cylinder kit will change…..i done service myself
Its selling in India as CB350RS @ 2250£ on road.
After a heart attack 3 weeks ago and watching this video, I exchanged my heavy NC750X DCT for this GB350S. I have to wait a month to receive it look forward to being able to ride a lighter more manageable bike. With my heart in recovery, I need to potter about rather than burning around the UK ❤
If they make a bigger one I'd be the first one to buy it. The CB1100 Ex Motion was perfect sadly I was still a broke student when they discontinued them
