Oscar winner Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier III in the 1950s. She tragically died in 1982. Their son Prince Albert II reigns now, and he actually makes decisions.
We were struck by the cleanliness of the country as we walked by the casino, the marina, through the gardens, went shopping, enjoyed gelato, visited the palace, witnessed a bicycle race along the same route as the F1 race in Monte Carlo, and went to a museum with the collection of cars that belonged to Princess Rainier III (see other post).
