  1. I'm like you, I don't like the cold. But a trip to Iceland would be interesting, and beautiful (if the usual thing is true, here, that photos/videos can't do it justice, then it must be really beautiful). Iceland is interesting, as I understand, because it is pretty much new land in the geologic scheme, and how life will slowly begin and grow, starting with pioneer species. And the arctic fox is the only native mammal! Seeing your beloved large, geological formations underwater must've been great!

  2. Ayup ducky indeed! What a fabulous adventure. Aurora, ice cave and snorkeling images were breathtaking. Glad you chose to have a non-bike change of pace … perfect way to forget about the YT cycling algorithm for a spell and you’ve got some more special memories!

  3. Love your videos as I think u r only down the road from me x can't wait to get on my bike this summer and go up ashy valley… I won't go to 3 places due to their love of whaling and unfortunately Iceland is it. Nevermind…

  4. That was stunning! Genuinely fantastic, with loads of places I would love to visit, and that matters because only 3 days ago I was looking at holiday options this year. The airline I checked went to various countries which you could include/exclude and I knocked Iceland off the places I'd like to see; too cold, no trees and grass. Not now! I am really very impressed.

<Edit: Way back in the 70's when I was pre-teen I read an article in the Sunday Times from their correspondent in Moscow. He was extolling the virtues and beauty of Muscovite women as he walked through Gorky Park in the depths of winter. They were thoroughly wrapped up against the cold – very far below zero centigrade, with only their eyes showing, and he said they were beautiful. The cold gave them a sparkle and something special that you just don't see in "normal" temps. As a 10 or 12 yr old I was both impressed and struggled to understand. Today I understood – 5:18>

  5. My goodness that looks cold but so beautiful. Apparently I have Icelandic DNA according to Ancestry and will never go there so thanks for showing us around ❤

  6. Stunning video!! Me and my wife went a few years ago and what an amazing place, the people are lovely and friendly, would recommend to anyone to go, visit and experience 👍

  7. Iceland is beautiful 🇮🇸 How do you find the temperature measurement on the Garmin? I own Forerunner 255 and it's waaaay off, over 5C error. I wonder if the body heat on the wrist is skewing it but you would think they'd think of that.

  8. Thanks for showing beautiful Iceland. My Garmin Venu SQ is fantastic, tracking hikes, cycling, running, sleep monitoring plus it tells the time 😊

  9. Awesome Katie! Iceland is on my bucket list. I just have to build up the courage to face the cold! LOL! Looks like you had an absolute blast there! 🎉😍
