After a 3 year wait for the ‘perfect’ weather window I finally attempt to cycle up what many consider to be the UK’s Mont Ventoux.
Sadly my fitness was on the decline after time off the bike, but that wouldn’t be enough to stop me trying. Situated in Cumbria, this is the highest paved road in the UK and is closed to cars for the majority of the way.
The route is below and I highly recommend this ride, if you like the video please like and subscribe and let me know if you have tried this challenging climb in the comments below.

Kudos I did this climb last year and had great weather then, didnt realize I had to go up Hartside Pass on the route I created, which totalled 153 miles 🤣 But to do it whilst filming, well done
