I am glad I was able to find this sub, there really is a subreddit for everything! My partner and I are considering getting a bike for recreation. Neighborhoods, greenways, maybe some very easy trail riding at local parks. Nothing crazy. I’d like to stay right at or under $400. I’m also trying to be waste conscious, so I am willing to purchase a quality bike second hand and have a local shop fix it up. There may or may not be a chance that my partner and I don’t end up doing as much biking as we hope, but I’d like an option I can keep for years with proper maintenance. These are a few options from FB marketplace, and the last two are from a recyclery that are certified as being up to par. Any suggestions?
