Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La – 14th July 2024
Rode through the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 ft), the highest motorable road, covering 130km in 5-6 hours through stunning terrain. Explored the white sand dunes of Nubra Valley, spotted double-humped Bactrian camels, and visited Diskit Monastery with its majestic 33m Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the Shayok River. Wrapped up the adventure with ATV rides, zip-lining, rafting, and a camel safari, before an overnight stay at a Swiss camp in Hunder under the starry Ladakh sky! 🌌🏍️🐫 #LadakhRide #KhardungLa #nubravalley
