Ive had the bike for a few days and Im very happy with it! The stock grips and saddle aren’t too bad, but I am interested in upgrading them to something that will be more comfortable for longer rides. Any recommendations?
I have an FX3 gen. 3 & I put a Bontrager Commuter Comp saddle on it, along with Bontrager Comp line pedals, for more grip. It came with the IsoZone handle bar grips already, which are ok. Cloud 9 has some sporty & padded saddles also.

Both grips and saddle are kind of personal preference, so it depends on what you prefer.
I added inner bar-ends right inside the grips. I rest my thumb and the palm pads below the thumb on the bar-ends. So 1/3 of my hand is on the bar-end and 2/3 on the grip. It changes the angle of my hands. I find this much more comfortable.
On my other bike, I have circular, soft and squishy type. This works better for me, particularly because with the inner bar-ends, I hold the grip closer to the center, not at the very edge of handlebar.

For grips, I have this contoured grip that flares out, on my Dual Sport: https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/equipment/bike-accessories/bike-handlebar-grips-tape/bike-handlebar-grips/bontrager-xr-endurance-elite-recycled-grip-set/p/5277811/. Ergon is often mentioned with this style. It is passable, not what I prefer.
