Brilliant episode of your Telford show series. The three bikes were on the stand of the Hundleby Club , more of a group of friends in Lincolnshire. All of our various bikes, including road racing bikes, are less common rather than mainstream examples, some of which are one off survivors, some ridden, all with running engines. The sand racer is currently being ridden hard at Mablethorpe beach races by Steve Lomas. Incidentally, the Hagon C15 was run on methanol in the day, hence the finning on the barrel being turned down from standard. This bike is almost to original Hagon catalogue specification and was surprisingly powerful albeit with much less torque than the bigger 500 engined grass track bikes. Most successful 500 riders in the day would have a 250 for extra rides at meetings. Thanks.
Chris, each show you produce always makes me late for some meeting. I love them. I would like to a request that you do a production on the Rickman company. All of Rickman's companies' products. Their streebikes are very overlooked. Yes, you're an offroad man but I know you had to ride on the blacktop from time to time.
