Road cycling is a sport steeped in tradition. Lots of people will tell you not to break the rules, but what are the rules and why should keeping them be important if it stops you from enjoying riding your bike? Chris and James go through some of cycling’s rules and why it’s not a problem to break them!

Donβt even wear cycling clothes. Wear an XXL shirt for the most style points.
I love my castelli ankle socks & often pair them with a sleeveless jersey. Ewww high socks only good for winter and even that's a stretch.
Sunglasses rule is not applicable here. To remove your helmet, you have to remove your sunglasses. I live in Florida. We do not remove our sunglasses.
Dear Team, I really enjoyed watching your channel last year and I have to notice that your input has changed my life. Thank you. However yesterday I had my first big disappointment being a cyclist . I visited Springfield shopping outlet centre at Spalding UK , I was gently PUSHING my bike between the shops looking for a coffee following 15 miles ride and I was suddenly asked by the security guard to leave the shopping centre because PUSHING a bike is NOT permited at this shopping centre. This was confirmed by the lady from the information office. There were no signs displayed and no information in the website as well. So I did feel like a criminal pushing my bike there. I will be grateful if you help me with some information about this issue and if someone else had the same problem please share your experiences with me because I am shocked. Thank you!
Win on the Chewbacca front for me π Thank you so much reminding me that now I can tell anyone to shove off commenting on my hairy legs, because I come from the same town as the actor of Chewbacca π And we come from probably the hairiest people on earth. Err… not something to brag of, never mind male and proud. Or a wookie?

That ranger should be fired + put in prison!
why are you riding without gloves ?
Short socks or no socks? Shudder! People might think you are a triathlete.
Where can we find those front and rear lights? They so cool, Iβve also seen a cool flat phone stand for handlebar, links anyone??? Thx
For old bikes with triples, no granny gear, unless you are climbing with full panniers!
Glasses over straps is for crash protection. Ina bingle they can bend and fly off easily. If they are put under the straps they can't jump off and can do a real mischief to your cheeks under your eyes. Without a frame on the bottom they can leave a nasty looking scar on your cheekbones.
I never thought of wearing the straps under until I saw the GCN videos. As someone who wears prescription glasses all the time, the glasses became part of my face and it never would have occurred to me to put the straps under.
triathlon!
OMG wear the glasses over the straps, it is for safety when you crash the glasses fly of youre face instead of in the eyes.
Glasses outside straps is a safety issue. Glasses legs jabbing in to your face in a crash is not ideal.
Guys can you sponsor me some cleat shoes im only poor here in the philippines
Going sleveless didin't slow down Thomas Frischknecht during 1996 Olympics.
Saddle must be higher than the handlebars.
