  1. Ineos Grenadiers are not back at what they used to be but this is good start.Great reacing, stage win and good GC results…chapou to them.I'm excited to see what they can do in the rest of the season.

  2. Dan’s use of MAGA might be the only time I didn’t want to vomit when hearing it. For cycling, I hope it bodes well for American cycling.

  3. Dan, please refrain from saying the phrase “MAGA.” It is truly triggering for people like me watching my nation sliding into autocracy. I’m sure you thought it was cute, but what is going on is not at all funny or to be taken lightly. Thanks.

  4. Ok I need you guys to get to the bottom of something. These days it is really clear that guys struggle posting up when they cross the line winning. This is true even with the peloton's penchant for long stems. I have two theories on why this is happening – with bike design evolution causing shorter stems and making bikes less stable when riding no-hands
1 – The hoods are now so dang long that guys are now using significantly shorter stems than before.
2 – Framemakers are making the reach too long on frames thus forcing some riders to use stems shorter than ideal

If you're watching races you already know what I mean about guys strugling to post up but if you somehow didn't notice – look at @1:06 in this video – even though he does sit up ok in the end you can see he had some uncomfortable wobble. Also look at Tadej winning strade bianchi. Or watch any random races this year and youll see it 50% of the time guys post up.

  5. I've been a fan of INEOS since Team SKY was developed. I've watched about 20 races this season and INEOS has been in the front controlling the race in almost every race. The way they split the peloton in the crosswinds the other day was ICONIC INEOS and so great to see. Its no secret they are making a comeback. They need a leader tho and I'm not sure Bernal can fill that void for them. We'll have to see bit they are looking really strong and they are animating the races they are in. Love to see it
    🤘🏻🇬🇧

  6. Have to pull you up on the Trofeo Binda report Dan. No mention of Pfeiffer Georgi? She finished 5th. I know she was later demoted, but still worth a mention, surely?

  7. Not a good idea to refer to “Making America Great Again”, it is not a good association with American cyclists, because I would venture to guess that 98% of American cyclist are firmly opposed to MAGA and do not like being grouped together.
