Every motorhome owner knows the pain of showers—pressing the hot water button, only to wait half an hour for just two minutes of warmth. But no more… In this episode of the Motorhome Matt podcast, Matt and Keith dive into Truma’s latest innovations, including a brand-new heating and hot water system that could change the game for motorhome users. Could this mean instant, endless showers at last?
Plus, we explore Truma’s cutting-edge air conditioning unit and how it stacks up against the competition. Matt speaks with Truma UK’s Martin Fitzpatrick to get the inside scoop.
In the news, vehicle tax is on the rise. We break down the upcoming increases, including how much more you’ll be paying and what it means for owners.
In the Q&A, Matt tackles your questions on air suspension and insurance, travelling with a table in place, and how to secure the best motorhome discounts.

Great show
Well done, you two! 🙂
I have been on coaches with tables fitted in the past, and one fully tabled with only around 32 seats on a full length coach. Nice way to travel and work on the move. Air con looks interesting for motorhomes, but what about the extra weight for weight payload limit motorhomes.
Well informed interview on truma.
My Bobil system (engineered here in the U.K) works fine and WON'T cost you an arm and a leg, unlike Truma.
Great info and good interview – one key question missed is does this new mystery gas in the Gen 2 still cool to the same level and at the same rate as the Gen 1 ? Also, as a Gen 1 owner myself, is there a trade-up kit ( for example a new roof template filler piece, as the units have a smaller footprint so Gen 1 units will have had a larger roof aperture cut ) so that Gen 1 owners can benefit from the latest advances?
